The contact owns a 1999 Saab 9-5. the contact stated that while parked, the passenger's side impact air bag erroneously deployed. The vehicle was not involved in a crash or any type of impact. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer for a diagnostic test however, dealer did not provide an explanation on what caused the air bag to inadvertently deploy. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 103,000.
