Started as small fire in door harness, now back two windows won't work. Then radio went out and now the AIR CONDITIONER went out!

Is it just wiring? I got a P1101 diagnostic code

gm customer care would not tell me if this has occurred in other astras or if they would take responsibility. They just told me to pay for a diagnosis and then they would look at the claim. I feel they should know if this is a systematic problem and if so take responsibility before a fire starts or whatever. Bad wiring? What abot front doors? I had the rear doors repaired but feel they should at least replace the rear harnesses and inspect the front harnesses at their expense not mine.
