The contact owns 2007 Saturn Aura. The contact stated that the brakes lights were only working intermittently. Also, the contact mentioned that anti-theft system engaged without warning preventing the doors from locking and the radio from turning off. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic however, the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was not included in recall NHTSA campaign number: 14V252000 (electrical system, electronic stability control, exterior lighting, and service brakes, hydraulic, vehicle speed control). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 35,000 and the current mileage was 62,000.
