The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Outlook. The contact stated the air bag warning light would illuminate sporadically. The contact was able to locate NHTSA campaign id number: 07V062000 (air bags: Frontal: Sensor/control module), in which she was experiencing all the symptoms. The dealer advised her VIN was not included with the recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 51,000 and current mileage was 52,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Outlook. The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with a weight sensor on the passenger side to determine if an adult or child was in the seat. When an adult was in the seat the passenger side air bag light was supposed to come on; however, it failed to illuminate. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer six times where the passenger seat and weight sensor module were replaced. The failure continued to recur intermittently. The failure mileage was 8,000 and the current mileage is 55,000. Updated 10/27/10. Updated 12/21/10 the consumer stated the module was replaced in 2008, but the problem has since resurfaced.
