was new to cars, and attempted cleaning my spark plug wires. ended up ripping one of the contacts away from where it was suppose to be, and had to have the wires replaced. she sputtered, died, and ran really rough for the longest time. putting a tiny piece of soft metal in the end of the wire helped a little bit, just long enough to get to my personal mechanic. wires were replaced for $100usd, and the problem was fixed, good as new.
