My Saturn has an idle problem. It started slowly and gradually got worse. What is happening is the idle is high and the transmission does not seem to want to choose the correct gear to be in. It is idling @ around 1500 rpm, way to high!! Took it to a mechanic friend of mine and he couldn't fix it. Don't know what to fix or what to do. Tried new spark plugs in it but it didn't help.
