The reduce power warning light illuminated after the failure occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact owns a 2003 Saturn Vue. The contact attempted to start the engine, but was unsuccessful. He believed that the battery was the cause of the failure. He opened the hood and noticed that the battery terminal had came off, and battery acid leaked all over the driveway. The contact purchased a new exide auto lite battery.
