The first time I noticed this problem was shortly after I bought it (used in June 2007). It was still under warranty at the time. The rear wiper started out just being slow, then too slow to wipe water away effectively, then it stopped mid-wipe one day. The dealer was great; they just said it was a loose nut, which they tightened. Since then (4 months later), it has become slow again. I'm going to take it back to the dealer to see if they'll tighten the nut again since it's a recurring problem.
