I purchased my tires on 3-14-10. There is such excessive road noise that within 30 minutes of a trip you will have a splitting head ache. My purchase of tires, road hazard warranty high per and 3yr whelel alignment was $627.45. I have gone to have tires rotated balanced and alignment regularly. It is a big inconveience to drive my Vue because of the noise. This is to much. I have never been so unhappy and dissatisfied with the purchase of tires I have made like I am with these yokohama tires size 225/65R17 102, 31920. I have nothing good to say about yokohama tires at this point. I can't get any satisfaction on them. You would think that new tires wouldn't pick up punctures so easy either but they do. I hate my purchase and I will not advise anyone to buy a yokohama tire of any kind. It can't be that the tires are worn because they are not worn. I haven't even put 20,000 miles on the tires yet. I even went as far to see if there was something wrong with my wheels. Bearing.. seals.. and all and nothing is wrong there. I have had no satisfaction from anyone on these tires. Now I found this site. Let's see what kind of response I get here.

On 5/31/2011 I had work done on my brakes at a local vendor. At that time, I was informed to get to a tire shop immediately and not to travel out of town as was my plan. I took the car to discount tires where I was told all 4 of the tires were literally shredded on the whitewall side, which was on the interior. The exact same damage to all 4 tires indicates this is a manufacturer's defect. When I saw the state of the tires, my heart stopped. These tires have gone 37,900 miles. This type of damage is not normal wear. Something is very wrong with these tires, and I am just thankful to god there was no collision. I commute to graduate school several times a month. I often have children in my car for church activities. I purchased 2 new tires yesterday at a cost of $233 and cannot drive my car until I am able to purchase 2 more tires.

Purchased 4 new tires. All 4 tires same brand, type, size and dot number: Cooper discoverer H/T, M+S. first new tire blew off rim after 4 miles; broke hub cap; bead failure. Second tire blew off rim after 400 miles; broke hub cap; bead failure. Third tire found defective on inspection; bead failure. Status of fourth tire (removed by retailer simultaneous to first failure - status unknown. Fortunately, both failures occurred suddenly and explosively while vehicle was standing still! pictures available. All tires replaced with another brand.

I bought 4 yokohama tires avid P235/65/R16. Within 1 month, as I was driving down the road, one of the tires blew out causing my vehicle to veer into a curb. I put in a claim with yokohama and they denied my claim - even though I had a witness and the repair station said it was definitely a blow out and put it on the repair invoice. Another one of the tires had a very large bubble in it. Obviously the tires were defective and neither Mr. Tire nor yokohama will resolve this issue.
