I bought this car used for my wife, it had about 60,000 miles on it. Last month (November 25th, 2014) it needed a jump to start, I chalked it up to the weather being very cold for the first time. But then I realized that every time the car sat unused for more than ten hours, the battery was dead. If it sat more than 24 hours, it was so dead that only a V8 could jump it.
I took it to my mechanic who traced the draw on the battery to a 60 amp fuse, which leads to a whole nest of wires. Pulling this fuse eliminated the draw, but a lot of other things ran on it. I then opened the inner fuse box, near the floor inside the cabin on the passenger side. there I pulled a 15 amp fuse labeled BCM, or body control module. This dropped the draw on the battery from 4.2 amps to about 0.4 amps.
I do not know if I need a new BCM or what, but the car starts, drives, and seems to function well enough without this fuse.
