I experienced this steering problem at 47,000 miles. The vehicle was still under warranty. I took it to two different dealers in Texas. I was about to move from Texas to North Carolina and was afraid that my steering would go out on the trip. Both dealers claimed that nothing was wrong with my steering (B.S.) and sent me on my way. I drove it all the way to N.C. and the steering clicked and stiffened in turns the whole way. Then the steering locked up on me on my way to work. There was roughly 52000 miles on the car at the time and it was Dec of 2012. Had to have it towed to the dealer. Not drivable, according to the dealer. Was my electronic steering control. It cost me $900.00 to fix. They gave me a 12000 mile warranty. At 12047 miles into the warranty, it did it again!!!!

As an upset consumer, I think it's really awful that there has been several complaints about this steering issues with the Saturn Vue and how many people are told that it's not covered in a recall. If its doing the same thing as the others, they all need to be covered. This is not safe at all! It's very dangerous and needs to be included with the rest of the recalled vehicles. I have not seen one person say it was resolved after taking it to a mechanic or a dealer.
