Went to reverse out of a parking spot, the car jerked and the gears no longer worked. P/N/D do nothing and R makes vehicle awkwardly go forward. Towed to two places and transmission placed told us the inside of the transmission has welded together. Zero prior symptoms. Toyota wants $10,000 CAD to fix whereas vehicle value is only $9,000 CAD.
