2005 Toyota Scion Tc with rear hatch failure. Consumer states that rear hatch can come crashing down on someone or on their hands if they are there. Toyota talked to the consumer and stated that they did not believe there was a safety issue. The consumer stated the rear hatch would not open on his vehicle, until one day, the stays completely failed and the rear hatch came crashing down.
