: the contact stated after the vehicle was parked, it started smoking from under the hood on the passenger side near the windshield. The fire department was called to the scene and filed a fire report. The fire marshal determined the cause of the fire was a defect in the fuel line. The dealership and manufacturer were alerted. Updated 3/9/2006 -
