I had someone run into the side of me when I took my vehicle into be repaired the body shop told me I had an extremely dangerous situation where the hood needs replaced. The body shop called it a striker. It has come unwelded from the actual hood. Unfortunately I do not have the money to replace the hood. I have checked online and found several complaints about this same situation. I believe Scion needs to fix this issue as it could result in a major crash if the hood were to fly up or off and I would kill myself or someone else. I have taken my vehicle in on schedule for maintenance and never was this mentioned to me.
