Scion Xb 2009 the driver seat has two wires poking out from the back seat. I have googled this issue and found others are experiencing the same thing. The two wires are very strong and cannot be pushed back into the seat. The two wires are also very very sharp. I have cut myself on it and my child have cut themselves on it. This very dangerous warrenty has expired but I feel that the seats should be recalled as they pose a huge danger to passengers. I have no idea how this would affect us if we did get into an accident. Could an impact cause this wires to come through and injure the passenger behind?

1) defective product. 2) passenger seat (back rest) does not retract from reclined position to upright position. Passenger has to exit the vehicle and lift the back rest by hand to straighten it up. All 2009 Scion-Xbs have the same problem! 3) Toyota claims that is how they designed this car, and cannot (will not) do anything to remedy this problem! I have compared this year's model to earlier models and they all function normally. We have exchanged several E-mails and phone calls with Toyota/Scion customer representatives, and had car at the dealer, their response was the same its the design. My opinion is that is a defective product, since there is no other vehicle make and model with the same problem!
