The contact owns a 2008 Scion Xd. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 14V169000 (seats), 12V491000 (visibility), and 09V338000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer (steve landers Toyota, 10825 colonel glenn rd, little rock, ar) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact owns a 2008 Scion Xd. The contact stated that the vehicle windows functioned intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the power window master switch needed to be replaced. Two years prior to the failure, the vehicle was remedied under NHTSA campaign 12V491000 (visibility). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.
