Dead battery triggered anti-theft system, brake won't disengage. No recall honoring stranded motorists in harms way because Subaru electronics are completely awful in 2020 ascent ? Safety? Dependability? Who are they kidding at this point? How can they sleep knowing the anti-theft is auto triggered by the tailgate and new batteries only result in additional times a person is stranded and told 'tough luck, tow back here and we'll see if maybe we find a dead battery..' Subaru knows this is an issue.
