All issues became reoccurring the same month, the in car system alerted me my standard warranty was expiring! So far Subaru dealer acts like the extended warranty I purchased at extreme cost of $7,000+ dUSD doesn't exists... so I'm stuck in a park .... you know like the places Subaru says you want to be able to go with your Subaru , camping, like Subaru says the car is 'ideally suited for' and I relinquished my lease to my apt in January one month before warranty to travel camping at all National Parks for 6 months !!! Now stranded because the anti theft was triggered AGAIN and the battery was drained AGAIN and it's still 'tough luck' 'you have to pay to tow it from the National Park to our dealership then pay for all repairs ' . At this point : How do I join the lawsuit ?

How do I sign up for the law suit ? Furious : Stranded at a National Forest with Dead Brand New Marine Grade Battery in a car less than 2.5 years old !! !Purchase Dealership acts like they have no clue why this is happening and says I have to pay all repairs. I'm now stranded in a national forest, was camping when the second replacement of Marine Grade Battery DIED due to the antitheft alarm silently locking the system alerting some monitoring place and killing the battery and now apparently damaging the alternator that tried to charge the batteries and couldn't !!!! Are you kidding me? Of course Warranty supposedly expired in Feb when I had the battery replaced ????? This car is dangerous if Subaru won't make this right when do many of us are being stranded in the kind of locations every Subaru Pam fleet says are the places you want to go and therefore the reason to buy a car you can camp in?!!

I noted in other complaints this battery dead problem is frequent and is associated with tailgate usage. There was the suggestion of battery cut off sensor/software problem in complaints, I did not open tailgate!! Is butt opening possible??

Even if intentional tailgate left open, as is commonly done in everyday use, this should not discharge battery, so is there now an alternator short and/or battery defect? The battery will not recharge properly still. This is a brand new Subaru 2020 Ascent, mind you!

I've had 3 jumpstarts in 24 hours, with only clicking sounds when attempt to push button start car. I'm taking to dealer tomorrow... stay tuned.
