Crosstrek Cross-trek Crstrk 2.01

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,000 miles

We truly hope this issue will be resolved once and for all, as promised by Subaru. From day two of ownership, we've had the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek in the dealership, first for computer connection disruption. For that, we took it twice, both times they could not recreate the problem and turned us away. They said, come back if it happens again. Next, the screen lit up with engine, transmission, etc. lights. The dealership looked at it, and said it was a connection problem again. Next, the car began bouncing abruptly as it was driven.

I took it to the dealership, and they could not recreate it. Very upset, we took it home. Then, it happened again... we took it to the dealership, left it running, and they said they would check it out. Finally, when they were about to return it to us without answers, the car began bouncing for them. They kept it, ordered a harness for the transmission, and returned it to us saying it was resolved.

But, no, the next day the same symptoms occurred... and drove it with hazards on slowly to the dealership once again. The customer service rep, Matt, sat and tried to pull the car forward and felt all the bouncing symptoms. They have our car again, and they told us it will be sometime next week before we hear back from him. Frankly, we are so displeased that we looking into the "lemon law". And, it's dangerous to drive this car under such horrible conditions! It only has 1100 miles, and each of these trips to the dealership have been all in the month of September.
