Crosstrek Limited 2.0L

  • CVT transmission

Subaru offered 1500 to replace solenoid body. Drove 2 days. Car shuddered and dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. Slowly drove car back to Subaru. 2 weeks later ,Subaru now tells me it’s the torque converter. Another 3000.00 repair. I had a claim open with Subaru. The car is out of warranty. This seems to be an ongoing issue with Subaru after reading MANY complaints in the Subaru owners forums. I loved my Crosstrek. Next car I get I will take the extended warranty. 3 weeks later, my car is still not repaired. Not happy with service, or Subaru customer service. Customer service does not back the consumer, they back the dealership service. Unsure about getting another Subaru at this point. I got the title 3 weeks before this happened. Hopefully this helps other Crosstrek owners.
