Crosstrek Sport 2.5L

  • CVT transmission
  • 450 miles

Stereo, complete loss of volume control, left and right - front and rear speakers.

I am constantly resetting stereo; press and HOLD down stereo power button till the screen resets. From frozen or other issue, to the flashing Starlink welcome screen. Even fixing at times a complete loss of any of the one speakers in the vehicle. So far the factory reset fixes all stereo problems. Subaru definitely needs to get an update rolled out. The stereo is lacking severely in reliability and the sport version 2.5L does not have GPS built into it of all things. Very cheap cut there on Subarus part, especially in the sport. Stereo is really lacking in reliability but great in frustration.
