Gear whine noise from drive train at highway cruise speed. The noise can be heard at 60Kmh and is most annoying between 95-100KMH. The noise occurs under light throttle pressure when the vehicle is pulling grade or small hill at highway speed. The operator can play a very distinctive tune while applying and removing throttle pressure. It sounds exactly like an incorrectly adjusted crown & pinion differential gear when I was a tech years ago. It has been back to the dealership and they have verified the complaint with no plan to resolve it at this time.
