I have bought this car in 2012. It had 60,000 miles, 2008 Forester, I did not know about warranty. Always brought the car to the dealership to change oil and fix any problem. In 2016 the car had a problem with head gaskets, I contact the Factory, they paid for the dealership to change it for free service to me.

But every oil change since then, there is a smoke coming under the hood, drove back to the dealership and they told me that is just oil spill. My car started to "boom" when I pressed the gas. Brought to another dealership for a second opinion, they showed me there is oil spill all over the engine from front to back of the car. They don't know how I drove this car for so long without catching on a fire or blowing up the engine. And I always brought to the dealer. Just finished paying the car in July, what a Luck, have a Junk Car after 5 years paying it and making sure to bring to a Subaru dealership all the time to check and change anything necessary.

Is there any owner of 2008 Subaru with the same oil leak , boom engine problem?
