My 2010 Subaru forester revs for no reason. I have to put it in neutral to stop it. Its really embarrassing. When i first bought it. I took it to Subaru for a inspection. They said it was normal. My friends have 2009 Forester that does the same thing. I took it to the mechanics yesterday, who informed me, the clutch is going the head gasket is leaking. I had 1998 Forester before and i loved it. If this problem was fixed 3 years ago I would still have a clutch. My mechanic said he has seen this problem a lot. He suggested I get rid of it. My friends feel the same about theirs. So disappointed in Subaru. I have only done 70000 k in 3 years. I hate my car.
