Never in my 60 years of driving have I had a wheel bearing failure (i'm 76). My 2015 Subaru Forester developed a noise in the rear end of the car and it only occurred when the vehicle was rolling. Subaru Dealer said both rear bearings required replacing. Car has only 123,000 miles. For both to fail at the same time and with only 123,000 miles seemed like an engineering defect. I wrote customer service and they thanked me for "Product Information". I was HOT when I received the response. I replied to the customer service manager that the compliant was not about Produce Information but was about Subaru RELIABILITY. Obviously I never received a response. Took slightly more then 3 weeks to receive the replacement bearings after Subaru placed the order. Must be a high demand for Subaru wheel bearings.
