occupant detection harness failure

My sensor started going bad in April 2023 warning light would come on air bag would be off even when someone in passenger seat. Now it is not working at all. Called Subaru about this problem and was told my vin number was not on recall list. Told them my harness had date 17293 in photo which is early than 18074 which calls for it to be replaced for free according to Subaru and NHTSA. Apparently they don’t care if the part is defective if VIN number isn’t on recall. So much for safety and customer service. To look up product campaign bulletin on this part look up wum-98r
