Bought this car new and followed maintenance schedule with all service at original dealership. Driving on highway 2 hours from home when engine sound started, sounded like a belt tensioner bearing. Quickly grew louder and turned towards nearest Subaru Dealer 30 miles away. Couple of miles later oil light blinked on and off for about 30 seconds before the engine stop. Tow to dealer who said the engine was seaized.
