Forester Touring 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission

Driving on I-20 yesterday (May 5th, 2020) the winds were fairly high, which resulted in excessive sway. My Forester was extremely difficult to maintain and required a lot of extra work to keep the vehicle in the driving lane. As an experienced driver with over 40 years of accident free driving, I was very disappointed in the performance of this vehicle's failure to hold the road. Seriously, the vehicle needs to have a stronger sway bar installed.

I've driven other vehicles in much higher windy conditions and never experienced the sideways shifting as I did in the drive yesterday. I strongly feel that this is a severe safety threat on this vehicle and the engineers need to think about correcting this problem.
