The Subaru of America dealership would not pay for a ECU replacement at the Subaru dealership I brought the 2007 Impreza outback sport to. The bill is $1,100 and I am really disappointed in this dealership. They said the mileage is too high to be covered by any warranty. The mileage to date is at 113,000 miles. I received a letter to get the fuel tank one way fuel valve replaced. I did not get that replaced and the Subaru dealership said that has no effect on the ECU to fail. Is that true?

The contact owns a 2007 Subaru Impreza. The vehicle was parked on a slight incline. The contact exited the vehicle without the emergency brake being engaged. The vehicle had an occupant in the front passenger seat as it rolled and crashed into a four foot retaining wall. The failure occurred without warning. The passenger sustained minor injuries. The police were called to the scene and a report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a collision center. The insurance company was notified of the failure, but the extent of the damage to the vehicle has not yet been determined. The failure and current mileages were 50,000.
