I bought a new Subaru Impreza in March 2013 and it has been nothing but awful. All of the interior windows fog up as soon as the weather cools down. If it gets really cold, all of the interior windows ice up. I took it to the dealership in December 2013, and they could not find the problem. Yet, when I got there to pick it up, I couldn't drive it off their lot because all of my interior windows were full of ice. One of their service technicians came out to see it and could not believe it, yet they did nothing. I took it back to Subaru a second time in December 2013 and again, they could not find the problem. I could tell they had put something on my windows because I could see streaks. I have since found out it was an anti-fog glass cleaner. In other words, they were trying to Band-Aid the issue.
This same problem started again this month. I had water dripping down the inside of my windows. I took it to Subaru again and they could not find the problem. Yet, when I got there to pick it up, it was full of frost on the inside. The service manager came out to see it and admitted there was a problem. They had my car for a full week and called me yesterday to tell me they cannot find the source of the problem. They claim they reported this to Subaru Canada, yet Subaru Canada says that I am the only one complaining about this. I find that hard to believe.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? I am so frustrated, and I am hating my Subaru.
