At night, when coming to a stop the headlights dim. Also if you turn the steering wheel (electric power assist) the headlights will dim. The alternator can't keep up with the power demand. Never had a car do this before. A voltmeter hooked to the battery shows a 1 volt drop every time I turn the wheels or turn the headlights on/off with the engine at idle. This voltage drop is a charging system fault and can be bad for battery longevity.
