The contact owns a 2020 Subaru Impreza. The contact stated while driving 45 mph, the headlights became inoperable and failed to return to normal operation. The contact stated that the driver monitoring system temporarily stopped message was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
