CAR USES A QUART OF OIL EVERY 1200 MILES OR SO.

contacted Subaru of America. They did an oil consumption test and at 1200 miles after test claimed car used 1 full qt of oil.

They offered $1,000 off the repair.

Repeat issue with cam carrier seal leaking. First instance was at 24,135 miles, this time it was at 45,204 miles.

Discovered that oil was collecting on the cylinder with oil residue on surrounding heat shields and components. The cam carrier was resealed by the dealer.

Started noticing strong smell a few minutes into driving the car. Ended up being a cam carrier leak which requires the motor to be pulled. Dealer broke torque converter in process. This lead into more issues after repair. Poor engineering from Subaru.
