This first happened just over a year ago. I had a cd in the player, and when I started the car, was almost blasted out of it, the volume was so loud! At first I thought maybe I had accidentally turned the volume up, but it happened a second time about a month later. When I complained to the dealer, I was told, "oh we need to see it happening to know what's going on". A few weeks later none of my cds would play, then a few days later, they started playing with no issue. Lately when I started the car, the Starlink screen didn't show for several seconds.

When I took the car in for maintenance, the service person told me, "oh, there's an update that MAY fix that, but you'll have to pay $150 since your warranty expired". Now that really burns me that I had to pay after reading about this problem! Of course, it didn't fix it! Then the volume problem started up again..once with a cd, the other time after I got off a call using bluetooth..had the radio playing..and when the call ended, the volume almost blasted me out of the car! Thank God I wasn't driving! I emailed the owner of the dealership over a week ago, never heard back! A new thing that happened - while driving home at night - the lights on the dashboard and headlights all went out for a couple of seconds! Good grief!
