Legacy 3.6R 3.6r

  • CVT transmission
  • 18,000 miles

The original battery died after a few months of purchase under 1,000 miles.

The second and better battery died a year later.

A third, even higher capacity battery, then died the next year.

There is obviously a parasitic drain on the battery and the car cannot be left undriven for more than a few days.

Some dealerships admit the problem but will not address the issue which is probably a faulty DCM Unit which is low on stock and costs over a $1,000 to replace. Will try to pull the fuse.
