i love my Subaru Outback. since i bought it in july of 2006 the check engine light has been on. the subaru dealership said it was throwing O2 sensor codes but it would be fine for a while. so i went on a road trip in jan 07 to utah. the car started overheating but we put some water in it and made it home with out it over heating again. i think we made it back ok because of the extreme low temperatures we were driving in. when i got back it over heated again and we had to put a new engine in it. so i paid to have a rebuilt engine put in it. that one blew a head gasket also because the place that put in the engine put in an old rusted engine for a junk yard... not what i paid for. so we finally got the right engine in but the same company hooked it up wrong so i got horrible gas mileage and it was running rough. so we got that fixed. we also changed the O2 sensors twice which is not cheap, and it still through O2 sensor codes. so we changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, and coil pack in june. Now it will only start if its cold. we checked the battery and its fine. Its still throwing the O2 sensor codes and obviously the check engine light is still on. Ive just about had it and cant afford much more but im still paying on this car. PLEASE!! any ideas would be great!!!
