2006 SUBARU OUTBACK - I NOTICED A SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL ON THE PASSENGER SIDE (TOP) OF ENGINE. I REMOVED THE OIL AND AFTER 1000 MILES I NOTICED MORE OIL. THE OIL LEVEL IS FULL SO THE AMOUNT OF OIL ON TOP OF THE ENGINE IS SMALL. I TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO A SUBARU DEALER TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT. THEY TOLD ME THERE IS A SMALL CRACK AT THE TOP OF THE BLOCK. (BEFORE TAKING THE VEHICLE IN TO A SUBARU DEALER, MY THOUGHT WAS A LEAKING OIL SENDING UNIT, BUT THAT WAS COMPLETELY DRY. THE ONLY POSSIBLE CONCLUSION IS THAT THIS BLOCK MUST HAVE BEEN BAD INITIALLY CRACKED FROM THE MOLD
