The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for routine maintenance when he was informed that the rear driver side lug studs exhibited stress fractures. The manufacturer advised the contact to have the dealer perform a diagnostic to determine the failure. The contact stated the vehicle had already been diagnosed by the previous authorized dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 69,000.
