We've had it at the dealership after purchase in 2013 multiple times & for weeks at a time. It was certified pre owned car. We're told they don't know what's wrong. They did take a video of it smoking out of tailpipes. Ruled out nothing is wrong with leaks or pressures. Since bought its become once in a great while to frequently. Doesn't smell like oil, antifreeze, transmission or burning. Smells like car running rich from premium gas. They keep giving it back "It doesn't smoke for them after sitting". I drive 36 miles 1 way to work. It sits for 12+ hours before I leave. It'll smoke at startup. I drive home sits 10 hours smokes at startup. Short trips no problem. I feel as if they're not being honest because it's under warranty. I can tell by the body language etc when I take car in for an oil change that they do know. I think they don't want to spend the $$$ & time to fix it. I'd appreciate any feedback from owners of 2008 Outback LL Bean owners or anyone of expertise concerning Subaru. Thx

Randomly smoked at startup.
Hasn't done it since, but the one time it did it was a ton of white smoke.
