Outback Premium 2.5L 4-CYL

  • CVT transmission
  • 61,501 miles

Steering wheel volume and mute buttons started working intermittently, and then stopped working altogether. The replacement OEM part wasn't that expensive, so if you're comfortable taking the steering wheel apart (including the air bag module), it's not that difficult to replace the entire switch assembly. Happy to provide more details if anyone is interested.
