Dealership mentioned that this was normal wear. That it should I have brought it in for a recommended 15,000 mile brake check -up.

After showing him the burnt wheel rim and molted metal on the caliper, this was anything but, what he called " NORMAL " wear.

Asked him if my car also caught on fire due to the caliper failing and burning my wheel rim, would that also be considered "A Normal Car Fire".

Sometimes you just need to answer their dumb-ass unrelated statements,( on why it's not covered under warranty ) with facts, on why they installed a part that failed in the first place.

We understand that things break, BUT if it breaks due to a defective part being installed on my car, THEN JUST FIXED THE DAM THING,( under warranty) that's all were asking. Isn't that why they are REQUIRED to offer us a warranty. (in case they screw-up like this ) Just remind them of that......finally they agreed that this was Not a NORMAL wear problem, and agreed to repair and replaced all defective and damaged brake items. They also agreed to install a new wheel rim due to the damage done to it by the failed brake assembly.
