I was coming to a stop behind another car in heavy traffic. All of a sudden significantly more force was applied by the car causing it to slide and squeal. Didn't hit anything but it was excessive braking that was unnecessary and by creating the slide and squeal, I received a number of looks from drivers on the left and right of me. I could see this being a problem in wet weather, because it almost seemed like the anti lock system was not functioning correct.
