Navigation system SUCKS!!!!! Usually will not accept voice commands. System says "I'm sorry I didn't understand. Let's try again." I try again; same response. I am using the system recommended commands such as "Find nearest" or "Navigate to : " Also when trying to enter a street number, street, city, state; I get the same "I'm sorry I didn't understand. Let's try again." when I try again system repeats "I'm sorry I didn't understand. Let's try again." or interrupts me before I can try again. My wife has the same problem with the system.

A lot of times when I set a destination with the keyboard (not available when moving); the directions are wrong when you are near the destination, such as the turn direction or location being to the right or left.

T

his is very frustrating and causes ROAD RAGE !!!!! Dealer says the system is working as designed and is difficult to use. NO SH*T!

We contacted Subaru. No response.

GPS won't provide for name of person or business. There is no way to put a name in an entry to the directory with a name in it. I have never seen one that didn't. I understand Subaru only has 2 like this. Imagine you have 100 clients in your business directory and you want to set the GPS up to go to one. Are you going to select the one you want to go to by address? It would be impossible, particularly at my age. The mere fact that every Subaru except for two models is set up to allow the buyer to select his address by name indicates that there are some employees who know how to design a GPS that is functional. Unfortunately, my GPS wasn't designed by one.

I have talked to your national service people and have they have no walk around solution.

What a distraction from an otherwise good car.

Had I known before purchase, I would not have bought the car
