Car radio comes on when motor turned on even though was turned off when motor last turned off. Stays on after car turned off, until door opened. Makes no sense, and really annoying. Owner/driver should be able to control whether radio is on or off, it should not come on unless turned on, and it should go off when the motor is turned off. Dealer has been unable to fix.

Dealership (Burke) never told us about radio issue, that you can’t turn it off when starting car...it comes on full blast and you can’t turn it off.

The entire nav radio computer froze. No control needed to stop car. Two times to reset computer, shut off car, wait and turn back on to reboot computer. Have top line all options, eye sight, etc. Dash and steering commands would not work.

a common problem on the message boards. Radio comes on whenever starting the car. Apparently no work around. Tried the 5 sec off, car on car off door open door closed.

I turn the ignition on and put the car in reverse. By the time the screen of the reverse camera turns on, the radio has started, and at that moment I do not want a radio to run at all. Neither hitting the off switch, nor turning volume down, works like at all. That is a problem that never goes away. The only solution to it is to turn the radio down (not off, down to zero volume) before turning the ignition off in the first place.
