Brought my Outback in for service and they call me and ask if I have ever spilled a drink on the passenger seat because its throwing an error code. It's a brand new car - I have never spilled anything or gotten it wet. Apparently the sensor has to be replaced and it's on back order from Subaru. They have to replace the whole seat from what I understand. The problem with the sensor causes the airbags not to work on the passenger side.
NOTE: I was not aware of this problem, I never saw a light or anything make sure you take your car into the dealership to get this checked out because you won't know if its causing problems until they scan it.
