The contact owns a 2020 Subaru Outback. The contact stated that after turning on the vehicle inside the garage, the contact became aware of a fracture on the lower passenger's side of the windshield below the wiper blade. The vehicle was taken to castle Subaru (6100 us hwy 6, portage, in 46368, (219) 764-5020) who informed the contact that the windshield would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 6,000.
