Outback Premium 2.5L

  • CVT transmission
  • 30,000 miles

For about a couple years whenever it rained and I put the window fully down on the driver side, it wouldn't go back up. I would have to park under a covered spot for 10-20 mins, wait, then try putting the window up and it would go up EXTREMELY SLOW. Last week, it rained and this time both the passenger window and driver window wouldn't go back up. It has since stopped raining and the passenger window will no longer go up or down when trying to control it from the driver door. It does go up/down when controlling from the passenger door. When I tried calling my local Subaru dealer, they said it wasn't covered by my extended warranty that I purchased from a different Subaru dealer in California. I've tried calling them about 12 times and nobody has returned my voicemails or chat requests. If I do speak to a sales person they just ignore me. I have now contacted Subaru corporate to file a claim.

When trying to roll up either the passenger or driver window it gets stuck. You have to pull it up a little at a time or have someone pull the window up manually . Of course its not covered under any warranty and would need to be replaced to work as it should.
