car will not turn over when starting, no apparent indicator.

After doing 3 errands, on the 4th time, the electrical indicators seemed to function when hitting the start button, but the engine did not turn over. AAA tried jump starting the car, but did absolutely nothing. One dash indicator said to depress brake which I was doing. After that, I had an indication that "hillside braking not working", so I rocked the car, still nothing. From that point on, numerous dashboard indication, needles moving back and forth like I was starting car and eventually nothing happened.

Until the last of this 5 hour trial and error, the doors would lock, the windows would work, but eventually, nothing. I had the car towed to Subaru dealer with the inability to lock the doors and nothing happening when hitting the "start" button. This is the first service related problem I have ever had with this car.

Update from Aug 1, 2025: Issue found by dealer blowing braking fuse was due to corroded trailer towing connection. When towing wires were disconnected, problem appears to be resolved.
