Wrote Subaru about shoddy infotainment system non-operation, which in more than a few cases, did not startup properly when car was turned on. They wrote back with apology, no resolve other than that.

The infortainment system ceases to function or freezes up, loss of volume control, reboots with a loss of eyesight functionality - from when the car starts up (quite a few cases) or during driving will just up and reset (reboot). In cases where the infotainment cannot launch satellite radio or any other radio stations for that matter, the car needs to be shut down (stopped) and I had to exit the vehicle, shutting the door so the infotainment system in a stuck-on-stupid state shuts itself off. Then, I re-enter the vehicle, restart and the infotainment system acts normal again.

The main complaint to Subaru was this: It's a 2022, I just dropped 40k on a car of it's calibur, and the infotainment system is the slowest and underperfoming problematic system I have ever seen. What is the problem here? The infortainment system should be fast to start and non-problematic.

My overall experience with Subaru in the two previous vehicles I owned, was that of overall excellence. They drove like a tanks through any weather. Knowing that, it led me to the purchase of my current vehicle, based on trust and great expectations. I was wrong.

It's a deal killer...
